What you will do

• Collaborate with product and design teams to execute business strategy and build novel features for the hirify.global Pro product space.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, and launch.
• Review code and design documents, providing feedback on product specifications and mocks.
• Contribute to strategic planning for backend development and establish standards to improve developer workflows.
• Mentor fellow engineers to grow their technical expertise while balancing development speed with system quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C++.
• 3+ years of experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift for designing maintainable APIs.
• Experience with distributed caching layers and large-scale data storage systems like Cassandra.
• Proven track record of leading mid-sized projects requiring cross-functional collaboration.
