Salary: Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; etc.) $158,000 - $185,000 USD; Zone 2 $139,000 - $163,000 USD; Zone 3 $123,000 - $144,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and deploy ML models for customer support including intent classification, escalation detection, summarization, and multi-agent orchestration
• Design evaluation frameworks with LLM reviews, human feedback, and automated metrics to catch regressions
• Develop propensity, segmentation, and personalization models for proactive outreach and tailored AI experiences
• Translate agent architecture advances into production via prompt design, retrieval, tool use, memory, and orchestration
• Maintain response quality and reliability at scale in collaboration with product, engineering, legal, and compliance

Requirements

• Strong Python and SQL skills with end-to-end ML system building and evaluation experience
• Experience with agent-based AI: reasoning loops, tool use, memory, RAG, orchestration
• Experience designing experiments and applying causal inference, A/B testing, measurement
• Comfort with ambiguous problems and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering

• Building and evaluating agent-based systems for production
• Recommendation, ranking, or personalization systems at scale
