TL;DR
Senior Construction Manager (Launch Infrastructure): Serve as Owner's Representative providing leadership for design, construction, commissioning, and activation of mission-critical launch infrastructure with an accent on project execution, budget/schedule control, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on delivering $100M+ complex industrial/aerospace projects, enforcing safety standards, and interfacing with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Location: Space Coast, FL. Relocation provided. Travel up to 10%. Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR.

What you will do
- Serve as Owner's Representative accountable for full project lifecycle from pre-construction through turnover and activation.
- Develop and manage project execution plans including budgets, schedules, risk registers, and procurement strategies.
- Lead general contractors, A/E firms, and subcontractors ensuring contract compliance, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Drive safety culture enforcing standards, OSHA, and Range Safety requirements.
- Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to translate requirements into constructible scopes.
- Manage budgets, schedules, change orders; provide reporting to leadership and interface with permitting authorities.
- Mentor junior staff and lead commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related.
- 12+ years progressive construction management on $100M+ industrial/aerospace projects as owner representative.
- Expertise in contracting methods (design-build, CMAR, etc.) and managing GCs/A/E firms.
- Strong project controls knowledge: P6 scheduling, cost management, earned value, risk practices.
- Ability to read civil, structural, mechanical, electrical drawings/specs.
- Understanding of safety programs and compliance (OSHA, EPA, NFPA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder skills. U.S. person (ITAR).
Nice to have
- Experience with launch sites, test stands, propellant/high-pressure systems, federal ranges (CCSFS, KSC).
- PMP, DBIA, CCM certification.
- Cryogenic fluids, hazardous systems, high-voltage electrical experience.
- Familiarity with launch vehicles.
