What you will do
- Drive the technical strategy and execution for engineering teams, defining the vision and best practices.
- Architect and build a scalable lending ecosystem and customer-centric financial products from onboarding to checkout.
- Design and maintain customer-facing applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React/Redux, and Angular.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Business teams to align technology with strategic business goals.
- Oversee code deployment to Staging and Production environments and partner with Quality Engineers to improve test coverage.
- Contribute to DevOps culture and participate in rotating on-call support for production applications.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Must be based in the US.
- 3+ years of experience with distributed microservices, SQL databases (PostgreSQL), Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in client-side technologies, specifically React Native and Angular.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure.
- Proven experience leading the architecture, design, development, and deployment of large-scale projects.
