Location: Hybrid in South San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $170,000 – $210,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap to establish quality data science as a core capability for the allogeneic platform.
• Lead data analytics to enable predict-and-prevent capabilities across GMP operations.
• Provide statistical direction for process validation, product monitoring, stability trending, and overall product quality control.
• Contribute to the build-out of the GMP Quality Management System and support regulatory submissions and inspections.
• Support root cause investigations and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate across functions to develop a company-wide Knowledge Management approach.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong expertise in applied statistics, including DoE, multivariate analysis, regression, and time-series.
• Hands-on experience with R, Python, JMP, SAS, or equivalent tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GMP regulations and industry best practices.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
