Salary: $88,000 – $124,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate user and stakeholder requirements into research, engineering, and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to productionize computational methods and scientific workflows.
• Design and implement software, pipelines, and data integration approaches for genomic and functional genomics datasets.
• Establish and maintain standards for data representation, interoperability, and reproducible software practices.
• Develop technical documentation, example analyses, and training materials to support resource adoption.
• Contribute to peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and scientific findings.

Requirements

• PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, computer science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and scientific presentations.
• Experience developing computational analyses or data pipelines in Python, R, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional scientific project teams.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating genomic data into databases, browsers, or knowledge portals.
• Knowledge of data standards, schemas, or interoperable data representations.
• Experience coordinating work across distributed collaborators or multi-stakeholder scientific projects.
