Location: Hybrid - required to attend office in Romford, UK for three days per week
Salary: £59,511 - £63,966 pa

What you will do
- Lead and manage a statutory Children in Care social work team
- Ensure delivery of services in line with legislation, guidance and best practice
- Provide supervision, appraisal and professional development to social workers
- Promote systemic, relationship-based and face-to-face practice
- Oversee recording, care planning, permanence planning and voice of the child
- Chair multi-disciplinary meetings, manage performance, workloads and budgets
- Collaborate with internal and external partners and contribute to service development
Requirements
- Recognised Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England
- Experience managing statutory children’s social care teams
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory responsibilities
- Proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff in systemic practice model
- Experience working with Children in Care (desirable)
