Location: Hybrid - required to attend office in Romford, UK for three days per week

Salary: £59,511 - £63,966 pa

What you will do

• Lead and manage a statutory Children in Care social work team
• Ensure delivery of services in line with legislation, guidance and best practice
• Provide supervision, appraisal and professional development to social workers
• Promote systemic, relationship-based and face-to-face practice
• Oversee recording, care planning, permanence planning and voice of the child
• Chair multi-disciplinary meetings, manage performance, workloads and budgets
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and contribute to service development

Requirements

• Recognised Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England
• Experience managing statutory children’s social care teams
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory responsibilities
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff in systemic practice model
• Experience working with Children in Care (desirable)
