Application Developer - Mid Level (AI)

TL;DR

Mid-Level Application Developer (AI): Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes for legacy and existing systems to enable integration with successor systems for coexistence. Focus on managing multiple complex assignments independently, innovating methodologies, and contributing to deliverables and performance metrics.

Washington, DC: based out of Washington, D.C. with ~2 days onsite required per week, remaining days remote. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

What you will do

• Independently manage multiple complex work assignments with minimal oversight.
• Develop new features, enhancements, bug fixes for legacy and existing systems.
• Build integrations allowing successor systems to coexist with older legacy systems.
• Innovate methodologies and present solutions to problems.
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree + 6+ years application/software development experience (at least some in last 2 years) or Master's + 4+ years
• Experience with Node.js + TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Experience with Angular, NestJS, JSON, Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, XML, VBA, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, OpenAI or other AI technologies
• Experience with Docker containers and/or Red Hat OpenShift

Nice to have

• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with Piwik/Matomo
• Creating solutions to complex problems in collaborative cross-functional teams
• Working with automated testing tools
