NAS-410 Level II PT and/or RT Techs (NDT)

TL;DR

NAS-410 Level II PT and/or RT Techs (NDT): Perform examinations of materials using penetrant testing (PT) and/or radiographic testing (RT) methods in accordance with NAS-410 standards and specifications with an accent on industrial inspections for manufacturing, aerospace, power generation, medical, and defense sectors. Focus on executing NDT procedures, preparing written instructions and reports, guiding trainees, and interfacing with clients to prioritize work.

What you will do

• Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Provide OJT and guidance to trainees while being familiar with scope and limitations of PT/RT methods.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and priorities to meet expectations.
• Prepare written instructions and organize/report results of examinations.
• Work independently, support team members, and perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• NAS-410 NDT Level II PT and/or RT certification with documentation of education, training, and experience
• Must be local to Jacksonville, FL and live within commutable distance
• U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export controls (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or asylees)
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and manufacturing processes
• Ability to effectively communicate issues and solve problems with departments and customers
• Pass drug screen, valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to lift 100 pounds, work in confined spaces/heights, around radiation/hazards, shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week
