What you will do

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems and equipment malfunctions in manufacturing operations.
• Design and modify electrical control circuits and PLC/HMI programs.
• Manage and troubleshoot robotic systems and Industrial Vision Systems including Keyence, PhotoNeo, and Matrox.
• Lead technical problem-solving and support Continuous Improvement (TIP) initiatives.
• Oversee project installations by contractors and provide training to skilled electricians.
• Develop and plan complex electrical projects with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and Industrial Control Systems.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI Programming, as well as troubleshooting of Servo and VFD Systems.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing to work any shift, including off-shifts.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Siemens, Allen-Bradley Rockwell, and Fanuc PLCs.
• Knowledge of CNC code and Safety PLC.
• Experience with high voltage power distribution and GM Global Common Controls Architecture.
• Knowledge of Industrial Vision Systems.
