Location: Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in office) in Edinburgh, Bristol, Cardiff, Halifax, or Leeds
Salary: £84,051 - £93,390

What you will do
- Lead independent validation and periodic reviews of GenAI and Agentic models.
- Assess whether models are robust, fair, explainable, and aligned with applicable regulations.
- Manage and coach junior team members to deliver high-quality model assessments.
- Conduct documentation reviews, quantitative analysis, and develop benchmark models.
- Raise validation challenges and provide actionable reporting to model owners and senior leadership.
- Contribute to the improvement of AI validation frameworks and track emerging industry trends.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Model Development or Validation.
- Deep understanding of GenAI and Agentic model techniques and their business applications.
- Proficiency in Python for model analysis.
- Numerate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Edinburgh, Bristol, Cardiff, Halifax, or Leeds.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Proficiency in SQL and cloud AI platforms such as GCP Vertex AI, BigQuery, or Azure AI.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like the EU AI Act, GDPR, and SS1/23.
