What you will do
- Own end-to-end technical solution lifecycle for data science and AI initiatives, from requirements shaping to implementation support.
- Apply advanced data science and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models into production with MLOps pipelines.
- Contribute to strategic direction, identifying innovation opportunities and shaping best practices.
- Collaborate with clients and teams to translate needs into solutions and communicate findings clearly.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering technical excellence.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance
- Experience with programming languages: C#, Python, R, SQL.
- Experience with ML libraries: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Knowledge of algorithms: Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, K-means, anomaly detection, Bayesian theory, Time Series Forecasting.
- Understanding of ML evaluation: overfitting, bias, cross-validation, LIME, SHAP.
- Experience with data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Hive; visualization: Tableau, Power BI.
- Experience with large complex datasets; knowledge of public sector challenges, data, and regulations.
