What you will do

• Design and implement behavioral and motion planning algorithms for new geofences.
• Adapt existing software modules for autonomous driving in new environments.
• Integrate and test applications on robots and perform iterative improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software components and features.
• Lead vehicle testing to generate actionable feedback on driving performance.
• Develop and file patents for novel technologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Proven experience in behavioral, motion, or mission planning for autonomous vehicles.
• Must be based in or able to work from Foster City, CA on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with behavioral and motion planning for high-speed autonomous driving.
• Experience with autonomous robots and machine learning or data-driven development.
