Salary: $125,000 – $217,100

What you will do

• Lead controls design using Lean-Agile principles and drive requirements decomposition with Systems and Architecture teams.
• Design and implement supervisory controls, diagnostics, and fault handling for new steering and suspension systems.
• Collaborate with calibration teams to create robust algorithms that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead FMEA activities, analyze failure modes, and integrate safety learnings into production algorithms.
• Verify controls through unit, integration, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing.
• Leverage AI to enhance efficiency, produce innovative methods, and document intellectual property.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in a related area.
• Knowledge of DOORS/DNG, GIT environments, and plant modeling/analysis tools.
• Experience with sub-system integration, including design, implementation, and testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering with a focus on controls.
• Experience with Safety-Critical Systems and ISO 26262.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
