What you will do

• Design, deploy, and monitor ML algorithms to extract and predict clinical findings from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Evaluate state-of-the-art deep learning approaches, such as Transformers, for embedding, retrieval, classification, and generative use cases.
• Build and maintain reusable codebases for data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop multi-modal document understanding systems incorporating segmentation and classification to enrich metadata for retrieval workflows.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, clinicians, and technical leadership to build scalable production ML systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and onboarding support to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as an ML engineer performing software platform development.
• Proven experience with the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Expertise in developing NLP and computer vision models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Keras, Spacy, and Hugging Face.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy), SQL, Docker, and Linux for scalable processing.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Athena, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, CloudWatch, Bedrock) and building RAG-based Generative AI applications using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Must reside anywhere in the United States
