What you will do

• Build and maintain end-to-end ML models to detect policy violations and remove harmful content.
• Own the full project lifecycle from problem scoping and data collection to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop scalable inference and data pipelines using Spark and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Backend Engineers, and the AI Platform team to implement user safety improvements.
• Stay current with LLM advances and apply them to trust and safety challenges.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an MLE, applied scientist, or data scientist.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML stacks like PyTorch or Hugging Face.
• Experience training and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with content classification or fraud detection.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Ray, or Kubeflow.
• Knowledge of ML infrastructure components like feature stores or observability tools.
