What you will do

• Manage and provision AWS resources using Terraform.
• Develop data processing workflows utilizing AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Implement and maintain data lake architectures with Lake Formation and Athena.
• Design and manage DynamoDB databases for high-performance data storage.
• Monitor and audit system performance using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Integrate Bedrock Knowledge Bases and OpenSearch for advanced data retrieval and AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS ecosystem (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Lake Formation, Athena, DynamoDB).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows.
• Experience with AWS messaging services such as SQS and SNS.
• Must be based in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with RDS or Aurora.
