What you will do

• Deliver robust, high-quality code within a continuous delivery environment.
• Work in a small, cross-functional Agile team to design and ship key features.
• Evolve core infrastructure and take full ownership of complex problems through to resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver a product to end-users.
• Contribute new ideas that drive continuous improvement and technical skill development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building and maintaining a SaaS application.
• Strong background in Python development and experience optimizing REST APIs.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills required.
• Location: Must be based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS).
• Proficiency with modern Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with non-relational distributed databases (e.g., Apache HBase).
