Senior Finance Business Partner (Finance Platform): Managing a platform with c.£150m annual spend at the forefront of Finance Transformation, providing challenge, insight, and oversight on costs, planning, and forecasting. What you will do
- Provide high-quality partnering support to the Finance Platform, producing insightful management reporting for senior stakeholders including Platform DFD, CIO, and Group directors.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks to the platform cost base such as contract renewals and resource pressures.
- Build strong relationships with Business Management team to foster a "no surprises" culture.
- Provide independent oversight of SI benefit validation and reporting, engaging on Signature and Essential Actions.
- Ensure financial governance, SOX compliance, balance sheet control, and interlock on investment benefits and objectives.
- Work with Centre of Excellence for high-quality inputs, outputs, and communication; role-model LBG culture and leadership.
Requirements
- Fully qualified (e.g. ACCA)
- 5+ years post-qualified financial experience with core principles, controls, capitalisation, and cost management
- 5+ years strong business partnering across divisions and teams
- 5+ years leadership experience in prioritising, directing, and supporting small teams
- Proven constructive challenge, judgement, and relationship-building across Finance, Technology, and Business teams.
- Comfortable managing urgent requests and changing priorities while delivering core activities.
