DevOps Engineer / SRE

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer / SRE (On-premise Infrastructure): Maintaining stability, performance, and security of server infrastructure including bare metal, VMs, databases, queues, and networking with an accent on end-to-end ownership and operational excellence. Focus on troubleshooting production incidents across OS, networking, and infrastructure layers, automating projects, and participating in on-call rotations.

What you will do

• Work with on-premise infrastructure (bare metal, VMs): setup, maintenance, troubleshooting at OS level.
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations by defining requirements and next steps.
• Own automation projects end-to-end from design to rollout and maintenance.
• Improve operational hygiene, harden systems, and tune for performance.
• Keep platform stable, fast, secure: manage servers, databases, queues; investigate incidents, apply mitigations, join post-mortems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and use AI for troubleshooting and development.

Requirements

• 4+ years as DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar.
• Hands-on experience with servers (VMs, bare metal) at OS level: configuring, troubleshooting.
• Confident Linux skills (Ubuntu), core Linux crisis tools.
• Solid networking basics, iptables configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ansible + Git.
• Bash or Python scripting for automation/observability.
• Production/on-call experience: diagnosing, restoring service, post-mortems.
• Ownership and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Hands-on in two or more: ClickHouse/MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, HAProxy/Nginx, OS tuning, full disk encryption, infrastructure security.
• VictoriaMetrics, complex CI/CD (Jenkins), bare-metal Kubernetes, Flux/GitOps, Terraform.
