What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Build and maintain API-driven data processing and orchestration frameworks within the DIAL team.
• Implement asynchronous and concurrent processing using Python (asyncio) for scalable workloads.
• Integrate with Azure services such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Develop robust data models, validation layers, and persistence mechanisms.
• Ensure observability, logging, and monitoring for enterprise-grade applications while contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python backend development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure (ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Working knowledge of Python Asyncio and high-throughput system design.
• Practical experience with Pytest for unit, integration, and API testing.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing and tuning.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry.
• Experience in data engineering or data platform ecosystems.
