What you will do

• Set, operate, and adjust Mazak CNC machines (3-axis and 4-axis), including mill-turn centres.
• Machine complex components from titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys to tight tolerances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks using precision measuring equipment and CMM machinery.
• Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Maintain machines and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Mazak CNC machines with a strong background in 3-axis and 4-axis machining.
• Experience with complex mill-turn operations and machining titanium, steel, and aluminum.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Competence with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, CMM awareness).
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.
• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering / CNC Machining preferred.
