What you will do

• Provide engineering technical assistance, including calculations, design, and drafting for scenic scopes of work.
• Review vendor design documents, component selections, calculations, and test plans.
• Edit and update Ride/Show engineering specifications to support scenic system delivery.
• Manage vendors through the process of bidding, manufacturing, testing, shipping, and commissioning.
• Develop, review, and execute test protocols and witness testing results.
• Maintain compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theater, Architecture, Set/Scenic Design, Building Construction, or a related technical field.
• Experience in theme park technical roles supporting scenic elements (e.g., rockwork, scenic facades, themed concrete).
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Strong analytical skills to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Bedford, UK.

Nice to have

• Advanced technical degree.
• Prior project experience within the entertainment or theme park industry.
• Experience in show and ride systems design or fabrication.
