What you will do

  • Verify and certify supplier payments to ensure correct amounts are paid.
  • Develop cost management procedures and systems to increase efficiency and assurance of value for money.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on cost positions and contract performance.
  • Assist in the development and compilation of NEC4 contract documents for construction and professional services.
  • Review contract documents and provide advice to project managers on contractual obligations.
  • Support wider teams to ensure compliance with construction work procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related field.
  • Early experience within a construction contract environment.
  • Experience in the measurement and valuation of construction works.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of building and civil construction technology and supply chains.
  • Desire to complete APC and become chartered (MRICS).

Nice to have

  • NEC Contract experience.
  • Understanding of budget control and management.
  • Strong numeracy and financial management ability.
