Industrial Engineer

TL;DR

Industrial Engineer: Responsible for daily IE tasks including layout, CT, routing, and capacity baseline setup with an accent on standard capacity monitoring, continuous improvement, and Industry 4.0 metrics like E-Kanban. Focus on leading or supporting Lean & IE projects, annual Lean activities such as audits, standard work, training, and waste reduction.

Location: Suzhou (onsite, full-time)

What you will do

• Handle daily IE tasks: layout design, cycle time analysis, routing, and capacity baseline setup.
• Monitor standard capacity and drive continuous improvements.
• Maintain metrics, E-Kanban systems, and support Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Lead or support Lean & IE projects.
• Conduct annual Lean activities including audits, standard work, training, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• 3–5 years related experience with bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong skills in line capacity management, standard work, continuous improvement, and layout drawing.
• Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience in problem solving and analytical ability; able to work independently.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, FMEA; understanding of equipment safety and 6S.
• Good computer/network knowledge, office software, written & oral English; AutoCAD is a must.
