Senior Data Scientist (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (ML/RL): Developing personalization systems and real-time recommendation engines using reinforcement learning and Bayesian methods with an accent on SOTA algorithms and high-dimensional data. Focus on conducting full-cycle data research, deploying models to production, and mentoring DS/MLE colleagues.

What you will do

• Conduct end-to-end data-driven research including problem definition, data collection, model development, and deployment.
• Analyze and demonstrate the impact of solutions within a real-time production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, BI, and product managers to deploy models effectively.
• Propose and contribute to scientific papers, technical blogs, and industry conferences.
• Mentor DS/MLE colleagues and serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the organization.

Requirements

• M.Sc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional work experience.
• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Background in Reinforcement Learning (e.g., multi-armed bandits).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with GIT.
• Experience in the gaming industry.
• Working experience with PyMC.
