Chief Technology Officer (Digital Products)

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania

Salary: €8,000–€11,000 gross per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of the technology stack, systems, and processes, identifying opportunities to simplify and improve efficiency.
• Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with long-term business goals and growth.
• Make architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Build, lead, and grow a high-performing engineering team while fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
• Improve development workflows to increase delivery speed, quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with founders and leadership to connect technology with business impact and customer value.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering foundation across backend, frontend, or full-stack development.
• Proven experience building and scaling web or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with system architecture, performance optimization, UX, and scaling challenges.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, mentoring technical talent, and working with C-level executives and founders.
• Experience connecting technology decisions with business outcomes in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, technology startups, or SaaS environments.
• Experience building or evolving in-house systems.
• Practical experience applying AI/ML solutions to products or internal tools.
