What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for global clients.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures and data models to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate the BI layer with upstream cloud pipelines and data platforms.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate KPIs into intuitive visualizations.
• Maintain data quality, lineage, and documentation while contributing to BI standards and reusable libraries.
• Participate in CI/CD practices and version control for Power BI assets via Azure DevOps and git.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Power BI development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, including complex measures and evaluation context.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema and snowflake schema.
• Experience connecting Power BI to Azure Synapse, SQL databases, Databricks, or data lakehouses.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data at the source level.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI Premium or Fabric.
• Familiarity with the Azure data ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, ADLS).
• Exposure to Python or PySpark for data preparation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Tabular Editor or ALM Toolkit.
• Basic understanding of Lakehouse architecture.
