Hybrid in Magog research center, Quebec, Canada - 3 days per week required

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating various data sources into consumable products.
• Design reporting data models, interactive dashboards, and reports in Power BI for business insights.
• Optimize data quality, performance, observability, and security using cloud best practices.
• Propose innovations, improve tools and processes, and stay current with new technologies.
• Create and maintain documentation like data lineage, dictionaries, and metrics logic.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English for communication with colleagues and international partners
• Technical or bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5+ years in IT industry, including 2+ years in data solutions development
• Experience with ETL processes, SQL, Python, DAX, MS SSIS, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI
• Understanding of modern BI & analytics architecture in cloud environments
• Strong data analysis, business analysis, problem-solving, and client-oriented skills

Nice to have

• Curiosity about AI technologies like generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning
• Knowledge of data security best practices
