What you will do

• Process payment instructions accurately, ensuring full adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Manage execution of incoming and outgoing payments, including reconciliation and approval processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with external counterparties and proactively resolve payment queries.
• Collaborate with Treasury Operations and Post-Onboarding Client Servicing to ensure operational alignment.
• Identify and drive initiatives for system automation, risk reduction, and efficiency within the Settlements function.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior analysts to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial services with a payments background (2-3 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of payment rails, including SEPA, SWIFT, CHAPS, and FPS.
• Methodical approach with strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from the London, UK office.
