What you will do

• Manage operational reliability, including incident management and escalations for enterprise systems.
• Design and implement application monitoring to ensure reliability and performance exceed business goals.
• Define service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) in collaboration with stakeholders and DevSecOps teams.
• Develop and deploy solutions across Windows, Linux, and Hyperscaler Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Analyze business needs to provide strategic advice and designs for information system ecosystems.
• Implement automation tools and strategies to cap operational load and handle overflow.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ohio for client-facing responsibilities.
• 10+ years of experience in operational management, including incident management.
• Strong experience with Windows server, Linux (RHEL preferred), and UNIX (AIX, Solaris).
• Proficiency with Hyperscaler Clouds such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift.
• Experience with data formats and scripting languages including JSON, YAML, Bash, and PowerShell.

Nice to have

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise with Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and dynamic resource management frameworks.
• Expertise in open-source tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
