Supply Chain Engineer (SCE)

TL;DR

Supply Chain Engineer (SCE): Supports management in incorporating process and quality improvements into hirify.global's supply chain and logistics strategy with an accent on material inspection, cost control, yield optimization, and supplier performance. Focus on conducting root cause analysis, leading supplier selections, driving excursion management, and implementing solutions for supply chain issues across NPI, Ramp, HVM, and EOL phases.

Location: PRC, Chengdu (hybrid work model: split time on-site at hirify.global site and off-site)

What you will do

• Own stakeholder management and communication with management and key stakeholders.
• Lead technical gap analysis, materials scripting, RA, DnD, new material enablement, and MET validation for NPI.
• Manage excursions, yield analysis, supplier performance, CIP validation, and NPI to HVM transitions for Ramp.
• Handle excursions, yield analysis, supplier transparency, IW dispo, Capex, CIP, and material changes for HVM.
• Oversee start dispo, inventory revision, and disposition for EOL.
• Participate in working groups, define timelines, run DOEs, own work packages, and drive project implementations.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Material Science, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years supply chain technical experience.
• Experience working with suppliers; understanding of hirify.global's factory ramp planning and ATM business processes.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior management.
• Strong data analytical skills.
• Fluent English (written and oral).
