TL;DR

Strategic Business Lead (Product Development/CVRM): Driving strategic and operational alignment across the Roche/hirify.global R&D and commercialization ecosystem to support the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease portfolio with an accent on portfolio ROI and financial stewardship. Focus on translating high-level organizational goals into actionable operational plans and optimizing the velocity of TA decision-making.

Location: On-site in Boston, MA. Relocation support will not be provided.

Salary: $150,000 - $285,000

What you will do

• Drive strategic and operational alignment across Roche/hirify.global R&D and commercialization ecosystems to support portfolio business needs.
• Define strategic priorities, review cycles, and operational plans for the CVRM therapeutic area.
• Serve as the Financial Steward, managing TA budget allocation and maximizing long-term portfolio ROI.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional projects and manage portfolio-level project plans and KPIs.
• Streamline operational workflows and implement industry-standard benchmarks to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure resource allocation is directly tied to high-impact deliverables.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MBA, Finance, or M.S. in a scientific field).
• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• 4+ years in a business strategy or leadership role managing complex global projects.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, resource forecasting, and budget management.
• Proven ability to translate high-level functional strategy into operational goals.
• Must be based on-site in Boston, MA.
