Receiving Inspection Supervisor

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States. Must have authorization to work in the US. Willing to travel 40% of the time.

What you will do

• Oversee and develop Receiving Inspection activities to ensure FAA and company compliance
• Develop and deploy training for Receiving Inspectors to meet qualifications
• Establish standards, identify new processes to boost RI performance
• Monitor RI discrepancies for supplier quality trends and unapproved parts
• Collaborate with Technical Purchasing on parts sourcing and documentation
• Review repair orders for Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins compliance
• Resolve traceability issues and document non-conformances

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years receiving inspection at FAR 121 or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the US per Immigration Reform Act; valid driver’s license and passport with no travel restrictions
• Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime; 40% travel
• Obtain and maintain SIDA badge per TSA
• Fluent in English; strong communication and presentation skills
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; ability to multitask in high-stress situations

Nice to have

• 4-year degree in Aerospace or Aviation Maintenance
• Valid FAA A&P License
• Knowledge of FAA regs, FAR 121, ATA 106, AC 20-154, SMS
• 1+ year in management/leadership
• Familiarity with maintenance systems like TRAX, AMOS
