TL;DR

A/R, A/P Clerk (Finance): Processing a high volume of accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure smooth cash flow and vendor/customer relationship management with an accent on invoice reconciliation and payment processing. Focus on maintaining accurate financial records, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting month-end closing procedures.

Location: Must be eligible to work in Canada

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD per year

What you will do

  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices using three-way matching of purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Prepare and execute electronic payments (EFT/ACH) and cheques in a timely manner.
  • Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and monthly statements.
  • Monitor aging reports and perform collection calls or reminders for past-due accounts.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and maintain organized digital financial records.
  • Prepare data for internal audits or tax filings such as GST/HST.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates with a strong grasp of debits/credits are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to process high transaction volumes rapidly.
  • Strong professional communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
