Location: San Francisco, CA. Must be onsite 5 days a week. U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software within an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams.
• Execute test plans using specialized equipment such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
• Solve complex system-level electrical, software, and mechanical problems.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Graduated within the last 6 months or currently enrolled in a post-graduate program.
• Passion for hands-on hardware design and development in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (Refugee/Asylee status).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Python for interfacing with test equipment, processing large datasets, and data visualization.
• Direct electrical or software design experience.
• Ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
