TL;DR
Electrical Integration Associate (Avionics): Designing, building, and testing satellite hardware and software with an accent on assembly and integration test plans. Focus on solving complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems in integrated systems and executing environmental tests.
Location: San Francisco, CA. Must be onsite 5 days a week. U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.
Salary: $1,925 per week

What you will do
- Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software within an interdisciplinary team.
- Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams.
- Execute test plans using specialized equipment such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
- Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
- Solve complex system-level electrical, software, and mechanical problems.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Graduated within the last 6 months or currently enrolled in a post-graduate program.
- Passion for hands-on hardware design and development in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (Refugee/Asylee status).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Python for interfacing with test equipment, processing large datasets, and data visualization.
- Direct electrical or software design experience.
- Ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
