Business Operations Analyst (Starlink Aviation)

Location: Woodinville, Washington, United States. The role requires eligibility under U.S. ITAR regulations and may require extended hours and weekends.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year for Operations Analyst/Level I, or $95,000–$120,000 per year for Operations Analyst/Level II.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain advanced data analysis tools, interactive dashboards, and tracking systems for Starlink Aviation operations.
• Analyze performance, historical trends, and emerging patterns across commercial, engineering, production, test, inventory, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and develop immediate mitigation and long-term improvement solutions.
• Build clear narratives and recommendations using Excel, dashboards, and PowerPoint for business leaders and stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to allocate improvement resources and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage analytical projects, document internal processes and best practices, and deliver results within tight timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, mathematics, economics, or another STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VBA/macros, as well as data analysis, dashboards, and PowerPoint.
• Experience building analytics pipelines, developing data-backed recommendations, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication, structured analytical, and process improvement skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR.

Nice to have

• Background in strategy consulting or investment banking.
• Experience driving cross-functional change within large organizations.
• Experience influencing without authority and working with changing requirements.
