Senior Software Engineer (ADAS)

What you will do

• Lead sensing and compute retrofits on vehicle platforms to reproduce prototype system behaviors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up functionalities, debug issues, and ensure testing readiness.
• Build interim solutions to connect and activate system functionality across modules during early-stage development.
• Develop and enhance utilities and scripts to streamline integration and data analysis workflows.
• Optimize data collection configurations to increase reliability and reduce pipeline processing complexity.
• Maintain technical documentation and recommend innovative approaches based on emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development/testing and MCU/SOC.
• Proficiency with software integration tools such as Vector, Intrepid, INCA, and dSpace.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware and software interfaces, specifically CAN and Ethernet.
• Must have valid US work authorization; GM does not provide immigration sponsorship (H1-B, OPT, etc.).

Nice to have

• Background in vehicle software deployment, testing, or calibration workflows.
• Exposure to Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms or simulation environments.
• Experience in software and hardware development life cycles and data infrastructure pipelines.
