What you will do

• Fabricate wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical interconnect systems according to engineering specifications.
• Perform wire termination, crimping, connector assembly, and harness routing.
• Integrate and test avionics hardware, electrical subsystems, and electro-mechanical units.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pinouts to execute builds.
• Support development and prototype builds, facilitating the transition into initial production.
• Maintain an ESD-compliant environment and support process improvement initiatives for quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in avionics, electrical integration, harness fabrication, or aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency with IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.
• Experience with wire termination, crimping, and cable routing best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, harness drawings, and connector pinouts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (Green Card holder), Refugee, or Asylee per ITAR requirements.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Torrance, CA, and travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience in UAV, launch, or automotive motorsports industries.
• Familiarity with Mil-Spec connectors, shielding, coax, and high-reliability cable assemblies.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills using multimeters or continuity testing equipment.
