Salary: $180,000 — $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to help customers solve business problems using the hirify.global platform.
• Provide technical leadership to guide customers through the evaluation and adoption of hirify.global.
• Consult on big data architecture, execute proof of concepts, and validate integrations with cloud services and 3rd party apps.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-to guides, and demonstration applications.
• Promote open source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) within developer communities.
• Travel to meet with customers within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, preferably with big-data technologies.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging in at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Data Engineering (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
