Lead Software Engineer (Go/Java)

What you will do

• Lead projects from initial estimation through to deployment, enabling the development of creative technical solutions.
• Architect end-to-end solutions, identifying requirements and selecting appropriate technology stacks.
• Interact directly with clients to communicate complex technical concepts to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure high code quality.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud computing services and cloud instances.

Requirements

• 7+ years of recent experience using at least two of the following: Golang, Java, or Python.
• Professional experience building front-ends using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid experience with cloud functions and hosting (GCP, GAE, Firebase, or AWS).
• Experience working with microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), or cloud lambda functions.
• Mandatory timezone flexibility to handle PST and EST schedules regularly.
• Strong communication skills paired with actual leadership experience.

Nice to have

• Expertise with RPC (Remote Procedure Call).
• Hands-on experience with session management, authentication, and authorization protocols.
• Prior experience working for an agency or a service-based organization.
