What you will do
- Track safety compliance and manage documentation control.
- Assist with VPP recertification processes.
- Support safety procedure requirements, including medical surveillance and hearing conservation.
- Facilitate new hire safety orientations and conduct required monthly safety training.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and track subsequent action items.
- Analyze near miss and behavior-based safety data using the Ideagen management system.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Positive, motivated self-starter capable of managing assignments independently.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Niagara Falls, NY.
