Academic Worker – Manufacturing Engineering

What you will do

• Support digitalization and consolidation of engineering drawings in the Meridian platform.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for drawing management.
• Manage and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), including redlining and drafting.
• Maintain engineering records, project files, and technical documentation according to regulatory requirements.
• Assist with project coordination, scheduling, milestone tracking, presentations, and reports.
• Support engineering operations: process purchase orders, manage spreadsheets, schedule meetings, maintain inventory.

Requirements

• Currently attending Missouri Western State University.
• Successfully completed at least one year of study in Engineering, Drafting, or related technical field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CAD software and technical drafting principles.
• Location: Elwood, KS (On-site).

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
• Strong analysis and problem-assessment skills.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting SOPs and presenting progress.
