Sr. Mechanical Engineer: Contributing to the development of new products and providing daily support to manufacturing operations with an accent on high density and liquid cooling applications for data centers. Focus on solving complex problems related to mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety.
Location: Monterrey, Mexico

What you will do
- Create/modify mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOMβs based on options selected by the customer.
- Work with Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all their needs.
- Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise.
- Gather feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implement appropriate improvements to the product.
- Assist with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering or product development with extensive experience.
- 8+ years of mechanical design & analysis experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English required (read, write, and speak).
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 10.0 and greater
- Change order management and Data-entry systems familiarity - Oracle, Agile, etc.
Nice to have
- Experience with Sheetmetal, piping and assemblies is a plus.
