What you will do

• Support the Lead System Engineer during Phase A/B1 studies.
• Coordinate technical inputs from specialist engineering departments and subcontractors.
• Execute trade-offs and analyses to define mission and system architecture.
• Lead platform and subsystem design as an architect, deriving and maintaining requirements.
• Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and assess Technology Readiness Levels (TRL).
• Define project breakdown structures (WBS) and implementation schedules for phases B2 through E1.

Requirements

• Master-level degree in aerospace engineering with a focus on space systems.
• Knowledge of science, exploration, and space safety missions.
• Competencies in space mission design, satellite systems engineering, and spacecraft subsystem design.
• Fluency in business English (spoken and written).
• High flexibility and ability to work within international teams under tight schedules.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in space system engineering.
• Experience in requirements engineering for space system subsystems.
