Location: Full-time onsite required at Mossville, IL or Clayton, NC offices. Domestic relocation assistance and visa sponsorship available. Up to 10% travel.

Salary: $128,470 - $208,770

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain remote control systems for new and existing hirify.global machine programs.
• Provide technical leadership for LOS and NLOS remote control systems across machines and platforms.
• Support remote control product roadmap and new product introduction (NPI) programs as subject matter expert.
• Lead system integration and validation for remote operator stations, consoles, and machine interfaces.
• Define engineering requirements for operator station features and change requests.
• Own internal remote operator stations, including software/hardware deployments and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in product development and validation of heavy equipment, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
• Strong technical background in complex hardware-software systems, Linux-based software, and safety-critical systems.
• NPI experience for complex machines, agile methodologies, and program delivery to production.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Mossville, IL or Clayton, NC.

• Experience in verification and validation of safety-critical software.
