What you will do

• Define AI capabilities: identify opportunities, set boundaries for what AI should and should not do.
• Design AI behaviors, orchestration, and logic: architect workflows, decision frameworks, handle uncertainty and edge cases.
• Shape human-AI workflows and experiences: integrate AI into user flows, define human oversight and recovery mechanisms.
• Establish quality standards: define evaluation scenarios, feedback loops, and reliability at system level.
• Prototype experiments, collaborate with ML scientists, PMs, and designers; influence product direction.

Requirements

• Based in Dublin, Ireland with hybrid office presence (3+ days/week).
• Strong product judgment and ability to influence without authority.
• Experience with zero-to-one products, ambiguity, and rapid change.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, limitations, and traditional ML.
• Track record defining AI design principles, heuristics, or evaluation criteria.
• Systems thinker focused on behaviors over UI; scientific mindset for experiments.
