TL;DR

IT Service Desk Engineer L1 (Fintech): Managing end-to-end user IT requests and maintaining device lifecycles for a global trading platform with an accent on endpoint troubleshooting, identity management, and asset inventory. Focus on resolving root causes of hardware/software issues, administering access via Okta and Google Workspace, and optimizing operational inefficiencies.

Location: Onsite in Warsaw, Poland

Salary: 8,000 - 12,000 PLN / month

What you will do

  • Manage user IT requests end-to-end, prioritizing by urgency and operational impact.
  • Diagnose and resolve endpoint, OS, application, and access issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Oversee the full device lifecycle, including staging, configuration, and MDM operations.
  • Administer access via Okta and Google Workspace following least-privilege principles.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and create internal knowledge base articles.
  • Manage ticket queues in Jira Service Desk and propose practical operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in Service Desk within a large-scale organization.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MDM platforms (Jamf, ManageEngine, or equivalent), and Okta.
  • Solid understanding of access management principles and provisioning workflows.
  • Experience managing IT asset records across the full device lifecycle.
  • Good working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Warsaw, Poland

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ITIL principles applied in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience with Confluence for knowledge management.
  • Advanced networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routing, firewall basics).
  • Experience supporting audio-visual systems or VoIP platforms.
