What you will do

• Build and shape the Microsoft Purview landscape from the ground up.
• Establish foundations for data protection, classification, governance, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into pragmatic solutions.
• Manage data security and risk & compliance topics across the organization.
• Drive the integration of security policies across M365, Azure, and on-premises environments.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, specifically in Data Security and Risk & Compliance.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 environments and on-premises landscapes.
• Experience with identity setups, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
• Proven ability to build technical structures from the ground up.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cologne, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
