What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Plan and execute version upgrades, schema changes, and data migrations across environments.
• Develop high-availability solutions for large datasets involving terabytes of data.
• Implement database automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Architect and validate database security, backup, and recovery processes within the cloud.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL database administration, including installation, configuration, and tuning.
• Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Expertise in query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Experience managing large-scale, high-transaction databases.
